# Voyage security assessment

A voyage security assessment is a written report for the owner and the shore organisation. You can order it now, by email, without a systems programme, a subscription, or a decision to install equipment. It is delivered worldwide. Non-lethal products and training are not for sale yet; they will come with [Basic](/services/).

The work starts from facts you already hold. Every seagoing vessel has a unique IMO ship identification number; we need that number for each ship in the assessment so we can establish its characteristics. For example, 9624550 identifies the general cargo ship Oceanic. Then: which vessel or which part of the fleet is in scope; the corridors those ships sail or intend to sail; and the class of cargo they carry. Corridor names are enough. A public request should not include ECDIS waypoints, cargo manifests, crew lists or the ship security plan.

The report is advice and evidence for shore use. It is not a legal determination, not an ISPS ship security assessment under the Code, and not an operations manual. It does not tell a master how to fight a ship, and it does not describe weapons.

Owners typically commission it when they need a defensible account of exposure before they choose non-lethal systems, training or a service tier — or when they need to show a flag state, an insurer or an auditor that the choice was considered. A later programme is optional. The assessment stands on its own.

## What we need from you

- IMO number of every vessel you want assessed (seven digits; for a fleet, one number per ship in that assessment)
- Vessel or fleet scope
- Intended or typical route corridors, named as corridors rather than waypoints
- Cargo class: container, dry bulk, tanker, roro, general cargo, or other

## What you receive

A written assessment addressed to the owner and the shore compliance lead. Installation, armed teams and tactical instructions are outside this product.

## How to order
